This digital position readout for the tailstock works with C4 lathes made by SIEG. Designed for the C4 and SC4 class of bench lathes including HiTorque bench lathes. Kit includes a digital readout, handwheel, bracket, feed screw thrust bearing and fasteners. Handle of handwheel is not provided in kit however the handwheel bolt and handle from your machine should fit. The new handwheel, like the original, has a 6mm thread. The iGaging EZ-Depth Drill Press DRO improves the accuracy and precision of your hole drilling. It is attached directly to the collar on the quill and the side frame of the drill press. Zero the display with the drill in contact with the workpiece, then use the digital display to measure the drilled depth. Display includes fractional inch, decimal inch, and millimeters. Buttons include On/Off/0 button, INC button for toggling between absolute and incremental mode, and a Mode button to change measurement display. Instructions include four mounting methods to suit different drill press designs. IP54 protective rating for moisture and dust resistance. This digital position readout for the tailstock works with almost all 7x10, 7x12, or 7x14 lathes made by SIEG, which includes most of the mini lathes sold in the US and most of the mini lathes sold world-wide. *NOTE* - We've found that the bore in the gray DRO retainer from these kits generally fits most tailstock retainers, but there is some variance in tailstock retainer size. The gray DRO retainer in this kit may require some additional boring (typically less than 1/8") in order to mount it on to your existing tailstock retainer.

Each one-meter section of magnetic scale includes six plastic end caps for mounting. When measuring a scale for cutting, measure the length of the aluminum channel before the end caps are installed. One meter (39") is enough for a three-axis DRO on most small mills. The scale consists of an extruded aluminum channel with a magnetic strip in the channel. The magnetic strip is protected by a stainless strip. You simply cut the scale to the lengths you need and install the plastic end caps. Measure the travel of your machine and cut the scales to the full travel plus 2.5". This allows for the width of the read head plus about 0.5" for over travel.
